Gar­den Con­ser­vancy Tour, Altadena, 2009

The SoCal gar­den tour sea­son will be here sooner than you think! Since most of the tours occur in April and May, my biggest fear is that the ones I want to attend (nearly all) will over­lap. Last year I went to the Gar­den Conservancy’s Open Days in Altadena in the morn­ing and came back to Pacific Pal­isades to work my own gar­den club tour in the after­noon. They were at oppo­site ends of the earth but boy was it worth it! The fol­low­ing are dates that you can put on your cal­en­der; I will be send­ing out reminders in April and May.

• Sun­day, April 25: The Gar­den Conservancy’s Open Days — Pasadena
• Sat­ur­day — Sun­day, May 1 – 2: Mary Lou Heard Memo­r­ial Gar­den Tour
• Sat­ur­day, May 1: Venice Gar­den and Home Tour
• Sat­ur­day, May 8: The Gar­den Conservancy’s Open Days — Los Angeles
• Sat­ur­day, May 8: Cal­i­for­nia Native Plant Soci­ety, Orange County Chapter
