Walker Farm
It was so hard to leave the Labrie family and Friesans of Majesty in Townshend, Vermont. But leave we must…on to Putney in Southern Vermont. At least I was consoled by a visit to Walker Farm, a must-see nursery in this part of Vermont (see, I really do sound like Martha Stewart). As you can see from the picture, it is a wonderland of nursery plants, vegetables and garden frou frou. I go here everytime I visit our dear friend Honey Loring in Putney. This time I bought a wonderful ceramic apple I hope to put with my succulents — if it makes the trip back to So Cal intact (picture to follow).
