Before I (ahem) go to the Big Gar­den in the Sky, I have a list of things to see and do: aka my ” bucket list”. Of course, there are non-​garden items on the B-​list, but I’ll save that for another time. So at this point, the list looks like this (start­ing with the one item accom­plished thus far)…

1. Visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling­wa­ter in Penn­syl­va­nia — done. (see my post under Gar­den Travel)
2. Go on an Eng­lish gar­den tour
3. Grow roses and keep the deer away
4. Visit Monet’s gar­den in France
5. Have my home gar­den on a gar­den tour
6. Become an expert on some hor­ti­cul­tural subject
7. Visit Ver­mont one more time
8. See Thomas Jefferson’s “Monticello”
